Senior Executive Officer Takuto Matsumura delivered a speech at the event “Experience Day 2019” hosted by Emotion Tech, Inc. on February 27, 2019.
With the theme of “experiences” of clients and employees, “Experience Day 2019” was aimed at sharing the latest cases in companies practicing their measures and experts’ findings.

■Speech Summary

In recent years, the need for various human resource to work actively not only in venture companies but also in traditional Japanese companies is growing.
In the midst of the erosion of working population and the growing mobility of human resources, it is becoming one of the highest-priority issues for corporate management how to foster the recruitment of highly diverse human resources and the corporate climate where such human resources work actively.
For that reason, we are moving into an era of visualizing individual engagements, supporting various careers of individuals, and thereby improving the vitality of organizations.
Now, the reform of individual working “satisfaction” is more important than the reform of working “practices.”
Therefore, our company has developed a survey consisting of elements classified into 5 categories (task/organization/superior’s involvement/outcome/individual awareness) which affect the employees’ engagements, and such categories are segmented into 20 Employee Experiences (EX). (The survey was jointly developed with Emotion Tech, Inc. which has an individual engagement analysis technique.)
Accordingly, we conducted the survey of 1200 of 20 to 50-year-old business persons with various professionals. Based on the survey result, we noted how to draw the future Employee Experience (EX).
We suggested that the survey result undergoes a quantitative analysis by properties of employees to visualize the needs for every property of employee and the current issues and to reflect them in human resource measures and management, and thereby the engagement of entire organization can be enhanced.
